Baxton Studio Leyton Mid-Century Light Gray Fabric and Medium Brown Finish Wood King-Size Platform Bed

First it was delivered in less than a week. Awesome!! Slightly disappointing. The color of the headboard is wayyyyyy darker in real life than it is in the advertisement. In the photo it looks medium to light gray. In person it is dark gray, almost black. I preferred the lighter color I thought I was getting. It is fairly easy to put together but a pain to do it without help. You can put it together yourself but it is not that easy. Took me over an hour. Very lightweight but slats seem dry so I have some concerns about support. It's hard to tell if it's actual wood or particle board. It does look okay. Nothing spectacular. Slight European flare. It almost didn't fit in my teenagers room. They make rooms small in utah. Barely enough room for a kid to grow up in, but we got it to fit. He's pretty husky and tall so we will give it 10 days to see if it will hold up for those teenage years. He is currently sleeping on an air mattress. Anything is better than that. Times are tough for everyone these days. We got this on the recent sale super cheap so if your broke and your kid needs a bed this is an affordable option. It's not horrible but it is definately darker than it shows in the ad.
