IRIScan Book 5 Wifi

IRIScan is made by Canon and you get its quality and experience in optics. The instructions was a bit confusing but you need to follow them in order to download the OCR software and activation. But after my download and activation, I was offered an opportunity to upgrade to the next version for an additional $59. This is bad customer relations and you may want to confirm which software version is included before buying this product. The scanner is easy to use and fast. You can set the image quality to 300, 600, or 1200 DPI and either jpg or pdf output format. I get about 200 photo scans at 600 DPI before I have to recharge via a micro USB. Full charge takes about 2 hours. I found it most useful for scanning directly from books, magazines, and photo albums. Wifi function gives you an option to scan and send the images to tablets or pc. It works but user interface is clunky.
