Great Beginner Scooter

The kids loved this scooter because it was not too big or too heavy to handle. It has grips for the handles so it doesn't slip out of their hands easily. It's very sturdy after all the assembly is complete. It was super easy to assemble because it only has 5 parts and the wrench and hex tool come with it. All you have to do is put the pieces together and tighten with the tools. The wheels are sturdy and do not wobble when the kids are on it. It has a brake on the back end of it and it's easy to use. This is the first scooter my kids have had, so they haven't got the hang of the brakes yet. But with practice, they'll get it. It is constructed of steel and it looks very cool too. The age on it is 5+ but a five year old had no problem with it and I know the older kids will like it too. It is strong enough for a child that weighs up to 140 pounds. It's a great scooter for the children to learn how to push themselves around. The colors are very vivid and bold.

AWESOME FUN

The Pulse Burner Pro Performance Freestyle Scooter is AWESOME! That is what my 9 year old Granddaughter said when I asked her to test drive the new Performance Pro Scooter, “totally Awesome”! She sped around the park like a competitive professional. She was laughing with delight as she tested it on the ramp racing up and down. She also found it easy to make sharp turns. This Scooter is made of rugged construction with hi-impact urethane wheels, well positioned handle bars and a built-in rear foot break for safe stopping. It is recommended for ages 5 and up and is designed to hold 140 pounds. So I test drove it myself also, and found it really was a lot of fun. It is such a smooth ride, with great maneuverability. The braking feature is really great, and so easy to access with one quick flick of the foot. Both my granddaughter and I loved the color scheme in a bright pattern that evokes speed. This really is such a powerful scooter, you wouldn't realize it's kid propelled. It is so much fun. I recommend it for kids of any age over 5. Light assembly is required, and the tools are included, making it quick and easy to put together.

A lot of fun

In all honesty, I have nothing to compare this scooter to. We are a family of skateboarders, therefore I do have strong borad background. This scooter really surprised me in a good way. The tires are poly urethane, not rubber. I am not sure about the durability of poly urethane, but they have a good bounce to them. Ruts, small nicks or holes on the travel path will be a slight issue. The tires do not have enough play to pass the ruts without getting stuck. However after riding for a little, the kids figured out how to maneuver around these type of travel issues. We have all enjoyed this scooter. The recommended age minimum five years (I agree with this), and weight limit is 140. The back brake is a heavy plastic, and it was very stiff at the beginning. It has loosened up as we have rode the scooter, and works just fine. The handle bars do not adjust in height, so that was a little weird since we range in height from four to six feet. As stated above I don't know if this is the normal for scooters, but the handle bar height was not a deterrent from riding it. The board has a good slip resistance covering, feet do not slip off. I have seen very expensive skateboards with less board covering than this one. The board is actually a pretty fair thickness, and easily held 140 pounds. The frame is a solid heavy metal, and the blue paint looks great. I don't foresee breaking this board, and it is reinforced by the metal frame along the bottom. The handle grips are strong, thick, and bonded to the handle bars. I appreciate that, especially with the little ones that ride it. I think this scooter is going to be around for a long time. It appears to be strong and durable. We have had hours of fun on this ride.
