Temperature changes affect performance.

While I like the idea of the suction cup on the base, Minnesota temps can change dramatically during the course of the day. When it gets hot, the suction releases and the phone falls on the floor. Can be a surprise while driving! Also, the upper piece allows the phone to flop up and down and side to side.
