Dyna-Glo Signature Series Heavy-Duty Vertical Charcoal Smoker

This is a heavy duty smoker. Well built and extremely sturdy. Does an excellent job of holding heat while requiring a minimum amount of charcoal. It is awkward to maneuver. For this reason I was going to give it four stars, but changed my mind after smoking a brisket for 7 hours. There isn't a large area to work with when feeding the smoker. When using the included water-pan, I found it practically impossible. The best way I found to feed new charcoal is using tongs and feeding one briquette at a time. But the beauty is, you don't need a lot of charcoal, especially when smoking. The Dyna-Glo suggestion of wrapping wet wood chips in aluminum foil and placing them top of the coals helps in both maintaining temperature as will prolonging the heat.

smoker seems to be very sturdy only downside is that the charcoal holder only lasts about 3 hours and forget about using the sausage hanger
