Once you receive your collar, open the collar wide by adjusting the metal slide. Slip it over your dog's neck and decrease size until you can comfortably slip only a couple of fingers under the collar. The unique limited closure prevents the choke from becoming too tight.

How to put a martingale collar on your dog. Step 1: Loosen the collar so it's big enough to go over your dog's head. Step 2: Slide the collar over the dog's head. Step 3: Pull up on the D Ring. Adjust by pulling the collar through the triglide. Step 4: Tighten the collar until it's 2 fingers fit between the collar and the dog's neck. Step 5. Attach the leash: Clip the leash to the D-Ring on the collar's loop.
