I have been using this for years. I have diverticulosis, and I need more fiber to make sure I don't end up getting diverticulitis, which is a very serious condition. My gastroenterologist recommended psyllium husk fiber as the best to use. I didn't like the drinks. They are like a gritty gel when you add them to liquid. It's nasty. These are capsules. Soooooooooo much better. And these, unlike other brands, you only need to take 2 capsules twice daily. Other brands and formulations need to be anywhere from 3 to 5 capsules 3 times a day. These are MUCH easier and more convenient. Why would anyone WANT to take more pills more times a day if they don't have to? I certainly don't. So, add these to your diet, and you're good to go!
