Exceeded expectations. I wasn't sure how this sharper would work since it wouldn't be anchored to a solid surface. Don't need 3 hands! Once the pencil is slid in the opening it stays in place while you hold the sharpener with one hand and turn the crank with your other hand.

pencil sharpener is old fashioned but works great. don't have to worry about the blade going dull. only thing is there is no way to mount it but I did find a way , I used 2 sided carpet tape and mounted it to my desk. doesn't ruin the wood or the sharpener.

My extremely old electric pencil sharpener finally stopped working, so I went to Walmart online and came across this little gem. I refuse to use mechanical lead pencils because the slightest pressure causes the lead to break, very frustrating if you're in a hurry. With a regular pencil, a few turns of the crank and I have a perfectly sharpened pencil in seconds. I highly recommend this old fashioned tool for anyone who still uses pencils. It's easy to use, works great, no electrical outlet needed, the price was amazing, and it arrived promptly in excellent condition.
