These B-vitamins, supplemented with Vitamin C and folic acid, are incredibly good for nearly all of us. If you don't always get your vegetables, you're probably short on B-vitamins in your diet, and yet they're incredibly important to your body. If you don't always get citrus fruits, then ditto for Vitamin C. And folic acid (one of the B-vitamins) is good for everyone but hugely important for pregnant women or nursing mothers. I'm in my seventies but still take this combination regularly, so that when I stint on vegetables in my diet, I'm still getting proper nutrition. It's a safety thing.
