This ceiling fan replaced a bulky five blade ceiling fan with lights. The volume of air moved is less than the fan it replaced. Air moves well immediately below the fixture. The intensity of the LED lights can be adjusted using the remote. The remote also can be used to turn the unit on and off, set a timer, reverse the fan, etc. In case you lose the remote, there is a downloadable app works, but it's not intuitive.
