Equate Extra Strength Pain Reliever Acetaminophen Caplets, 500mg, Pain Reliever/Fever Reducer, 500 Count, Compare to Tylenol® Extra Strength Active Ingredient

I'm on blood thinners and some other medications that prevent me from take a lot of over the counter medications. To be honest I don't like acetaminophen it doesn't help with headaches and I'm not crazy about it but my options are limited for pain relief. Doctors won't prescribe any pain medication anymore because they're worried about getting sued if a person gets addicted. I have severe arthritis in my hands, spine and joints. Some days are incredibly difficult to get through. My doctor told me to take 2 of these twice a day everyday. I am worried about liver damage from long term use so that's something I get tested for every time I go in to the doctor. I hate to admit it but these are helping my arthritis pain and to a small extent my nerve pain in my feet. They are what my grandma called horse pills so if you have trouble swallowing pills you should check out the capsules. I have a throat like goat I can swallow anything so these aren't a problem for me and they don't get stuck half way down. I take 2 at a time with no problem. I don't notice any taste but I don't let them sit in my mouth long enough to find out either. I suspect these are just as good as the name brand but a lot cheaper. For now I'll be taking these twice a day.

Don't waste your money on name brands. This is just as good and much less expensive. Please consult your doctor before taking acetaminophen on a daily basis, and only take as directed. This drug can cause severe kidney problems if used for long periods of time or over-used. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND ASK YOUR DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING ANY MEDICATION.
