The Nisaku Japanese Stainless Steel Weeding Knife boasts both straight and serrated edges. It's useful for dividing plants, planting bulbs, flowers and herbs, digging out weeds, removing rocks, cutting through roots and so much more! A comfortable wooden handle allows for a good grip for all-day digging, and ensures you push into the soil with more control. This special edition model is forged with a higher quality DSR-1K6 stainless steel, making it more durable than traditional weeding knives, and requires minimal sharpening. Comes with a faux leather sheath.

Love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's very heavy duty and even though it's not "spring" enough yet up north I wanted to try it out. I have some dirt around my house and actually want to add more dirt as my dog loves to dig by the house. I want to get the weeds out though and this thing is doing the trick, I can imagine it will work better when the ground isn't so frozen. I love it, it's making it fun to get ready for my dog!

Extremely Nice Blade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: high quality knife, made well, multi-functional, sturdy, thick, serrated on one side, easy to cut with, easy to dig with, inch lines, convenient, easy to use Cons: the sheath isn't easy to use The Nisaku Sansaibori Stainless Steel Weeding Knife is really nice. This knife is made well, it's multifunctional, and it works really well. The only thing about this knife that I don't like is the sheath. This knife has a really nice wooden handle, making it easy to hang on to, and also has a strap attached which I find useful. The blade is solid and thick. One side of the blade is serrated, the other is smooth, both sides are very sharp and easily cut through roots, weeds, and easily digs weeds out. I'm overall extremely impressed with how useful and functional this weeding knife is. It also has inch lines on it which are super convenient for measuring holes or plant spacing. The only thing I don't like about this knife is the sheath. It isn't genuine leather, but it's stiff, and it's extremely hard to get the knife in and out of. It's also really easy to cut the sheath with the knife. I ended up slicing part of the side the very first time I tried to put the knife back in the sheath. All in all, this is a really nice weeding knife. It's made extremely well, it's multifunctional, and it works great! I would absolutely recommend it!

This is essential, correct measurements for how much I'm digging. Extremely easy to handle.
