Been burned before by other online auto parts stores, so I was pleasantly surprised when the thermostat arrived with full housing and gasket. Perfect fit, easy to install, and holding after about a week. I have zero concerns about the integrity of this product. Note to my fellow Aveo drivers - the bolts holding your housing in place would usually require an external torx bit. I was able to remove the bolts with no stripping using a 5/16 socket, but you will need an extension to reach them. Hope this helps.

Good part

Good product for the 09 Pontiac G3. Luckily where the Thermostat is located there was not much spillage from the coolant. The bolts that hold the thermostat in place needed to be replaced, couldn't find the proper socket for that star patterned bolt. After switching out the part and replacing some coolant, I did not unplug the battery to reset the code the engine light and hold commands turned itself off automatically, which was great to see. So far the part has been in for almost a week and no signs of engine light or hold commands coming back. Good price for $35 or so since the OE failed after 130k miles. Doesn't make sense spending $90 on something that's gonna fail around the same time anyway. Will shop again that's for sure, thumbs up.
