Poor packaging with damage to item

Very poorly packaged, with one small piece of styrofoam that was in fragments. As a result, one set of legs was bent and required days of struggle to assemble. It finally came together but not sure how sturdy it will be - no one over 100 lbs is encouraged to sit on it. The second stool was in good shape and went together easily.
