Ignition Lock Housing - Compatible with 1999 - 2005 Volkswagen Jetta A4 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004

Product performed flawlessly and even came with a new ignition switch, which I wasn't expecting. The most difficult part was getting rid of the safety bolts and simply replaced with a couple of hex bolts from the local hardware store. I was able to complete this repair over the course of two nights after work: 1 to tear it apart to diagnose, and night 2 to reassemble the ignition/steering column once the part arrived. The package was delivered several days before I was even supposed to receive it, so that was VERY helpful as well. Seems to be working just fine! Too bad the car won't last as long as this new housing will!

Installed easily and got my car running again. I used it on a 2001 VW passat wagon. Didn't realize what the chassis number meant, but it was important since I have a half year model, so this was the replacement piece since I ordered the wrong one first. Parts geek did exactly what they said they would in processing my return, so no surprises there and this part did the trick.
