Color altered from photo and past rugs

I have had the 5x8 version of this rug for many years and the colors are true to the photos, the turquoise and coral are almost pastel. Lovely sherbet colors and mid century/contemporary pattern. Only issue is cats really like to scratch it and therefore it needs a lot of vacuuming and the wool pile is no longer as even. I recently bought a bigger version and the colors weren't the same, dye lots were brighter and darker so it's more garish and didn't match my furniture. First photo is smaller old rug, second is the unrolled (it will lie flat with time) new rug I returned
