I purchased two of these beds. They are fantastic my kids love them. They Were fairly easy to put together. I would suggest loosely putting all the bolts in So you can get alignment correct then tighten. This was my first hayneedle purchase and it won't be my last item came in perfect condition and ahead of of schedule - GREAT PRODUCT and experience .

A decent bed
The shipping box arrived damaged, with little pieces of styrofoam everywhere. The color of the bed frame was ""brown"" but it looks black. Three of the four legs were scratched, one badly. The instructions said it would take two people 30 minutes to assemble. I am a capable 28 year old woman and it took me three and a half hours by myself to assemble (I used only the tools provided). The screws really, really didn't want to go into their holes. That being said, my memory full-size mattress fits in it just fine, it feels sturdy, and the first guest to my new apartment complemented me on it. It's a decent buy for the price.
