Barnaby has many friends, both at his home in the north of England and in the beautiful countryside surrounding it. First there are Dilly and Bumble, his labrador “sisters”, then there’s Bobbin the Robin who visits the bird table every day. The friendly dogs he meets on his walk are always interested in what he has to say, but the deer steer clear of him, even though he’s on the leash.
