A little bigger than anticipated but works great. I can put twice as much product as with my old Scott’s spreader. Saved me time. Overall happy with purchase.

I recently purchased this product and will use it for the first time in about one month. Though not mechanically inclined, I found this product to be simple and easy to assemble. The directions and pictures in the manual were straightforward and clear. I did view the video on assembly, and while it is helpful, it is not necessary. The spreader is definitely sturdy and appears to be well made. The hopper is large and durable and the inflatable wheels provide a huge advantage when pushing the spreader over uneven or inclined landscapes. While I did not spread any applications yet, I did make some "practice" runs on my lawn. My only concern about this spreader is the durability of the plastic control cable housing. This seems to be a concern of most who have reviewed this product. I think it is probably a good idea to be careful as you move the lever between the on and off positions. If you are too forceful it may easily break. The control settings also appear somewhat general and don't have precise, graduations as found on other spreaders. Hopefully the general control settings provide for proper material dispersal. The plastic control housing and the general dispersal control settings were the reasons that contributed to my 4 star (instead of 5) rating.
