Very nice, makes stove top look much nicer, keeps it cleaner and it turns it into usable space for storage or preparations. Just remove it before using the stove top. very easy. I take mine off and drape it over a kitchen chair until I'm done cooking and the stove top cools off, or if I'm going to use it for a mat to lay on my counter top or kitchen table and use it for preparing things like meats, breading chicken, mixing ground beef etc. veggies like peeling potatoes, carrots, onions etc, or removing corn husk etc. You can also use a knife to cut things up, just be careful not to damage it or it's appearance. I also lay paper on mine before using it for preparations, makes it so easy to clean up after using. Highly recommend.
