opened package light chemical odor, by next morning my parrot %26 i both sick from VERY strong odor. 2 air purifiers on high setting for 6 hours has not helped odor go away, even though rug moved to room with doors closed. this rug feels great on bare feet, dye is beautiful blue, measurements accurate. i hope manufacturer in turkey will relay odor be gone tips ASAP. i do not want to return this rug. i think it is originating from water repellent chemical that was applied by manufacturer. "Turkey manufacturer we would rather have spots on rug than this sickening odor. " Please keep making your beautiful rugs but do not apply unessential chemicals.
