Shedding, color running rug

This rug was pretty on arrival; however, I washed it before using it and the colors ran (so now I have a light blue & blue rug rather than a white and blue rug) and I had a whole bunch of cotton fluff caught in my dryer vent trap after drying it. This rug does have a good weight to it but it is NOT reversible as stated in the description. Overall, this is a pretty rug with good weight but doesn't stay true to color upon washing. I don't th No the quality is in line with the price. The picture shows the rug after one wash and dry.
