I love this great item - to replace a standard black neck light that stopped working on one side. I liked the black one ok until I found this cute colorful option on Walmart's website when checking to see if they sold them in the store. The fact that it had a bar light and reasonable price convinced me to buy it online (which also saved me an hour roundtrip drive to the store in another town.) It did not disappoint when it arrived. The charge lasts for many days and has more lighting intensity choices. There are no shadows on the book page due to the rectangular bar light, and I even wear it to walk in the early evening The bar light shines brighter on the walkway ahead making it safer to walk at dusk. Plus the spot light side is brighter than my old black version with two spot lights. I love my purchase and highly recommend it for reading, sewing, crafting, and outside projects like walking and working in a garage.

I originally bought this for when I take my dog out early in the morning in late in the evening. I put it around my neck and I can see ahead of me and again at the ground as I walk and follow my dog, so I'm hands-free with a light and I can carry her poop bags. I also use it for reading on the couch, when I don't want the overhead light or a lamp to wake my sleeping husband.
