I love this!!! It gets my heart rate up and keeps my arms, abs, quads, glutes, EVERYthing nice and toned! 10 pound is perfect for me aligned with my goals and DEFINITELY enough to be an amazing stress release. It came with some exercises that I thought were exceptional. However, if you look online you can find others. Using a slam ball is a LOT of bang for your buck. Okay, so that is the oldest expression ever but you know what I mean. I incorporate it into other workouts Im doing. For instance, I'll hop off the elliptical machine at regular intervals and then do one of the exercises. I LOVE it. I LOVE it. So yup, would consider it for sure!! Hope that helped. Oh, I like that it does not roll anywhere when you slam it (not sure if they all function that way?) but that is a big plus, I can grab it and then keep moving along with my reps. The only downfall, my dog apparently does not like it (from downstairs) when she hears it. If you have an anxious dog or a grandmother living with you, you need to find the best room or be creative about getting all your "slamming" out ;-) Ie, you can help the noise (a bit) with a mat, more with a good mat Id suppose. Mine was a yoga, hardly helpful! Or best option, garage or other room where you can workout without thinking about the noises. All in all consider this, BECAUSE it is such an effective workout you're not really going to be doing THAT many. Have fun with it!!!
