55 Gallon Trash Bags (60 Count), Black Heavy Duty Outdoor Garbage Bags, with Tying Ropes

May sound odd to recommend something when part of the review gave the item 3 stars. We have used 55 gallon bags for years and their cost became prohibitive. We found these to be so much more reasonable. As long as you are careful when carrying them, they are fine. If they hit the curb too hard they will tear. If you push too hard when filling them, they will tear. So we are more careful. They are quite thin but we need the size and will continue to use them.

The bags were too thin. They are as thin as the clear bags at a park trash can. I expected them to be thick like all other construction or lawn debris bags. This bag can take 3 or 4, 13 gallon sized trash bags piled inside, for better transport. But make sure there is nothing sharp enough to poke through the thin bag or it will rip when u pick up. Including poky cardboard. It is just not made for heavy duty jobs. Its great for an after party pick up ...but not lawn mowing day.....nor clean up at a demolition site. The bag tie is the only heavy duty thing about this bag.
