This 54mm Bottomless Portafilter is designed to work seamlessly with Breville's Barista Series coffee machines. Bottomless portafilters are used as a training tool. It will provide you with immediate feedback and can see if channeling occurs right away. PLEASE NOTE: Channeling and spill can be very messy, but are EXTREMELY common. This is not a defect of the portafilter itself, but instead, is your coffee telling you that there's room for improvement in your preparation process (grind size, tamping, distribution, etc.)
