As for fit I have flat feet, REALLY flat, skinny legs, and always wear a size 11 in boots and shoes. That is, unless I'm going to be wearing a pull-on boot for a long period of time. Then I usually have to size down 1/2 to 1 to keep them from slipping and rubbing. I got these rubber boots primarily to keep by the front door for something to slip on in a hurry to go outside. These are my new "slippers"'. I used to have another pair, different brand, that I loved but spent a bit too much time on hot coals tending a brush pile I was burning the night before. They developed a leak and, unable to find exactly where, I learned the hard way that "Flex Seal" isn't a good option as it stays tacky and picked up anything I walked on. I also needed them for a project around my foundation where mud will be unavoidable and hosing them off or slipping them off before I come in is quick and easy. Other than keeping your feet dry, at least until they sweat, don't expect them to keep your feet warm. They won't. The "pads" on the insole feel a bit strange at first but these are actually really comfortable. If they are made as well as they seem to be these should last me a VERY long time. Good boots for a good price.

Okay, so I was initially worried, but when I received them, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually fit and are perfect for walking through mud as I work on my sea wall.
