Anything but traditional, the "Edgewood" LightHeaded illuminated bed merges the classic styling of a Louis Philippe sleigh bed with 21st century technology creating a new generation of personalized children's beds. Each bed is made of solid wood and features a remote controlled adjustable night light that is bright enough to read by and a fade-to off setting that can help little ones drift off to sleep. The night light illuminates the changeable images and each bed comes with a starter dolphin HeadLight image and a $20 coupon that can be applied towards an image of your choice at LightHeaded Beds. The beds also include adjustable height side-rails and roll-out slats. Mattress and box spring sold separately. The LED light panel is already installed inside the headboard and ready to plug in. It is rated for 50,000 hours.

A True Heirloom Treasure!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is FANTASTIC!! It was packaged well, easy to assemble, and made with a high level of quality. He is 13 and already around 5'-7" in height. The bed fits him perfectly while leaving room for additional growing. He loves that he can customize the bed with the Headlightz images. For example, he has a baseball theme Headlightz image in since it's baseball season. Come Fall, he will replace it with a football Headlightz to usher in the season. The light illuminates the room without being overwhelming, allowing the kids to read and see their path in case they need to get up during the night. I was impressed with the quality of the rails - compared to other furniture, we feel that these are made to last!

Son loves it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves that he can change the panels and have different scenes, so far the light saber one is the fave. I like that the bed was easy to put together and that he has room underneath for storage. I like that there's a pocket to keep the different panels when not in use so that they don't get damaged. So far it has worked great for him.

Well-made unique bed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We put the bed together today and when our grandkids saw it, they became ecstatic! They love turning on the lighted ocean scene and remembering their trip to Hawaii. The bed is very well made and sturdy. The framework is stronger than any I have ever seen, and the rest of the workmanship and materials are high grade. I would strongly recommend this bed to anyone who wants a well-made, attractive, unique bed.
