My 8 month old kittens love this- it’s slim enough so it doesn’t take up a lot of room and the extension to lock it to the ceiling is solid. I didn’t think they would fit in the hammock but they do! We did screw one of the landings to the wall, our cats are larger and always hit the tower sideways and at high speed. They love the sisal and scratch on it and attack it. Floor to ceiling is 9 feet right there. I wouldn’t go taller

My cats love climbing all over this. I love that it’s very sturdy and looks fabulous. My cats hit the tree going full speed, chase each other to the top, then sprint down. The tree doesn’t move. They love that every level has a scratching post. They also love the multiple hanging sacks. They’re the perfect spot for a nap.

Great quality but probably better for kittens

Giving this 5 stars because it's great quality, easy to assemble, and stable. I chose this tree with a spring-tension top rod instead of one with a screw-on one because I thought it would work better with my slanted ceiling (it works great!). However, the platforms are kind of small for my cat (and she's only 10 pounds). It would definitely be better suited for a kitten. I had to fan out the shelves because she couldn't get up or down different levels when they were straight. I have another PAWZ tree with larger platforms and she has no trouble getting around that one. But overall this is a great back-up tree that gets used quite a bit, she just doesn't have room to take naps on it. :)
