Works fine, I bought a new distributor from jegs to power up my 383ci SBC and found out that I needed this gear to put on a new distributor to work with my roller camshaft. Wished I had researched a little better, that was an extra expenditure that I was unaware of. Melonized gear should be used on roller cams due to material differences.
