These instant bluing tablets dye the water inside a toilet bowl to a deep shade of blue. This is to keep examinees from attempting possible fraud in urine sampling, such as if an examinee collects another person's urine from inside an unoccupied toilet bowl to use as a sample. Should an examinee attempt to adulterate his sample with dyed toilet water, the sample would have a noticeable blue tint.
