if what you want is soft and squishy, this is not the right mattress for you. If what you need is firm and supportive and you don't have a thousand dollars to waste on a high quality orthopedic mattress, then you can't go wrong with this purchase. Especially if like me and my wife, you need a firm supportive mattress for your back. Its always a gamble buying a cheap bed in a box because you don't know how the mattress will hold up after a week, a month. a year, etc... especially since cheap innersprings wear out quickly. But this mattress is foam so there are no springs to wear out. So far after a month of use by my 225 lbs self and my wife there has been no deterioration in quality or firmness. very happy with my purchase
