The sling bag is just the right size to fit the essentials of your helmet, gloves, ball, bat, drink and some other small accessories. It probably wouldn't also fit your sweatshirts or jackets in addition since it is a sling style it's going to be more sleek that a typical backpack. However it's comfortable and easy to wear by slinging it over one shoulder. There is a couple of the mesh cushions in the back of the bag and 2 zipper compartments in the front in addition to the main storage. This is a very stylish looking bag but unfortunately a bit small to store all the baseball gear. Few good things about this bag are the material of bag, the zipper quality and place to keep the bat outside of the bag. The cross shoulder strap helps to carry it easily, if bag gets heavy with all the stuff in it. My son liked the bag, its color and since its bit different than normal school bags, he asked me if he can take this to school. He is excited to show this to all his friends when school start.
