GRI XPT SS
OVERVIEW
The GRI XPT SS is an all season tire manufactured for industrial vehicles.
The tire features a directional tread design, with angled lugs and different tread depths on the center and shoulder areas. These elements work together in order to significantly increase the model's soft and hard terrain grip. They enable the tire's consistent forward motion at all times. This allows the tire to securely conquer various work-site terrains, increasing its off-road performance and making the tire perfect for industrial applications.
The tread elements also keep the footprint clean. They disperse mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. As a result, mud and snow do not block surface contact, while stone retention is also avoided. Additionally, the extra thick sidewalls guard the casing against stress cracking. This protects the tire from impact damage, while also preventing deformations. The excellent damage resistance lengthens the tire's service life.
The XPT SS uses its self-cleaning capabilities in order to ease the pressure off the footprint. Lower pressure levels decrease the tire's rolling resistance which determines the vehicle's necessary fuel consumption levels. In this manner, the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are minimized. This promotes a fuel-efficient driving experience.
This tire has a BIASED ply structure.
Manufacturers only provide the width and rim diameter with these tires. Various brands and models will have discrepancies. To ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter should be checked.
The Overall Diameter advertised represents the overall diameter in inches, once it has been inflated and mounted.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
