How to take care of LiFePO4 Lithium Battery?
1. Charging: 36V 100Ah battery can be charged with 100A current at maximum. However, we will recommend to charge the battery at 20A (0.2C), which will maximize the battery's life span and cycles.
2. Storage: Keep your battery in a cool and dry place (preferably between 0 and 45°). Operating temperature: Charge at 0℃-45℃;Discharge at -20℃-60℃.
3. Cleaning: Never use a steam pressure washer when cleaning the battery .Never completely immerse the battery in water. Wiping it off with a damp cloth.

A new lithium battery for a 20 year old EZGO.
So far, 3 months, it has been flawless. Immediately gave new "pep" to the EZGO golfcart with brisk acceleration and renewed energy while going up our 150 yard long driveway. Had to buy a new charger, about $140, specific to Lithium batteries. Old 36 volt charger was less than a year old, but we became concerned that it might overcharge the new battery. Had a hookup problem with initial installation and managed to blowout the "controller", which cost more than the battery to get diagnosed and replaced with a used one by a local golfcart serviceman. No fault of the battery, but the instruction info provided by the battery manufacturer was inadequate for non-professional use. So, trying to save $150 /- service call resulted in a $600 fix.
