Great Product

I got this a couple weeks ago and it works GREAT! I have Kwikset door knobs and deadbolt locks throughout my house and It"s the only brand that I use.

Great deadbolt

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we installed Kwikset dead bolts on our new steel doors, best idea I ever had, after 19 years still nice and solid, would recommend to everyone.

Great for rentals!

I have purchased at least ten of these over the past three years. The lock works well and the finish still looks good. I have re-keyed one of them three times, due to tenant turnover. This has saved me more than the cost of the lock. Before I had to take the lock off to bring it to a locksmith. That meant that I had to put a temporary lock on the door until the re-keyed lock was returned. Then I had to pick up the lock from the locksmith, take the temporary lock off, put the re-keyed lock back on.....wow. Now I can re-key a whole house in less than fifteen minutes. Of course, ease of use and good looks are just the cover story. One of the rentals was broken into, but not through the door. They tried to jimmy the lock, but were unsuccessful. The thieves then threw a brick through a window, setting off the alarm. LOVE THIS LOCK!
