When ethernet cable is plugged into my J5Create, which is plugged into my MacBook Air, I have an internet connection. However when the RJ45 Splitter was plugged into the J5Create and I plugged ethernet cables into the RJ45, I had no internet connection to my devices.

It doesn't work. At all. I also then tried to get a return and refund because it doesn't work and they only want to offer half of the refund. I'm mad. Beyond frustrated in fact but I'm tired of explaining over and over the same thing to get nothing out of it. Save yourself the pain. DO NOT BUY IT. It doesn't work with two cords plugged in, even if only one device is the only thing being used (as specified by them though numerous emails, although thats not how a splitter is suppose to work it should allow both to be used) but then again it doesn't even work with only one cord plugged from the splitter. All of those cords work just fine any where else, as do all of the devices individually (I have 3 different Ethernet cords to try and 4 different devices I tried so I am 100 percent sure it doesn't work). I bought it so I could use the devices individually without having to move the cord back and forth. What a waste of my time and money.
