Too scratchy for sitting
I am looking for a non-synthetic rug that is comfortable to sit on. Sadly, there were no reviews on the texture of the rug, so I bought it taking a chance. One thing that is difficult to tell from the picture is that the design is a different texture from the background, and is actually raised up a bit. The texture of the design is soft and lovely, the background loops are very scratchy. After sitting on it for 20 minutes wearing thin cotton long pants, the backs of my legs felt like I had been sitting on sandpaper. The look, quality and color of the rug is beautiful, but the texture is awful if you plan to do anything other than stand on it wearing shoes.
