Assembly was a breeze. I have a king bed in another room so I laid out the parts on top of it for assembly, stood it up on it's side and carried it to the other room. Very solid and sturdy. No squeaks or noises. I think this is a better choice than ordering a different foundation through a local chain or vendor and paying for delivery.
