They do not hold shape, they are extra soft and fluffy. I will need to place them in the dryer often, for 10 minutes, to fluff them back up. They do not fully fit a 20×20 pillow case which means they're not fully 20×20 in size. I wish they were a little firmer but I do recommend for the price
