The heated mattress pad is made by adding a layer of quilted down alternative fiber to the underside of the Thermee Micro Flannel top-facing fabric. Soft wire heating technology developed especially for mattress pads is layered underneath the down-alternative fiber. Additional layers of insulating fabric enclose the heat source and a layer of Micro Flannel fabric is added to the back. All is quilted together with tac-tite stitching so the layers will not shift or slide. The gentle heat rises through the Micro Flannel fabric which helps to cycle a portion back to the user. This creates a soft environment of overall warmth; not too much, not too little- a complete and gentle comfort environment. This mattress pad has extra deep pockets to fit mattresses up to 18 inches.
