Too bright for bedroom but usable %26 cute

There's just one issue with this lrg nightlight ... the bulb is starkly exposed behind the open area with no diffusion. It's too bright unless you cover the inside of the open area with a little piece of foil or something to diffuse the brightness or do what I did; put it in an unused room not used overnight, like a great room. The cat is Very Cute %26 looks like copper.
