The best head guard

I've been using this for years after every restring. Just the right amoubt of adhesive, so it doesnt leave a lot of residue when you remove it.

Good but not great

This product is one of the best of its kind however it is far from a necessity to protect your racquet head. It will adhere to the modern composite Racquet Heads fairly well and it gets ripped up if you dig out a lot of balls during a match which I suppose is its purpose because that would be better than scratching up your record if that is a concern to you. I really wanted to purchase this to protect the heads of old time wooden rackets that I play with from time to time and the wood is worn down overtime and I thought this might help a bit. It does help somewhat but it does not adhere really well so I wouldn't had so it becomes a bit inconvenient when having two continually press the tape around the top of the racket.
