Star Trek Mens Scotty Costume

Very cheap polyester, which is what I kind of expected. However, I did not expect the collar to be so worthless that it ruins the whole asthetic. It has a tiny strip of velcro on the back, and opens up like a woman's blouse. Therefore, when you try to close it, it leaves a gaping hole on the back (note the white cardboard showing through on the pictures), and will not close completely. I cannot understand this design at all, except to say that it is completely cheap and shoddy workmanship. They should have at least put in a zipper, then it would close (and stay closed) properly. The way it is designed is worthless, as it looks ridiculous once you have it on, and it won't cover you up completely on the back. Unfortunately this not only makes it an uncomfortable shirt (as it supposed to fit snuggly, all across your torso), but it also renders any proper resemblance to the original Star Trek design totally null. I would invest in something else, and not purchase this flawed Trekkie outfit.
