Very comfortable but sound quality is marginal

Quality of the item seems pretty good. No issues so far. Very comfortable. I got these to use for playing a flight simulator so I am wearing them for a couple hours at a time. I just wish it had microphone feedback. I cannot hear myself in the headset. Also the actual sound quality is just ok. I compare these to the ones I use for my PS4 which are Lucid Sound 30 series and close to the same price.

Real aviation style at a great price

Honestly, I bought these purely for aesthetic reasons. As a former enlisted aviator, I have grown a little nostalgic for my old cans. While shopping for a new headset to use for teleconferencing I came across these and had to try them. I didn't have the highest of hopes from a sub $100 headset, but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. They certainly earned the officially licensed USAF logo in my book. The build quality was more solid than I expected. They are roughly similar in size and weight to the real thing and sit very comfortably over my ears. If anything, the ear cups are more comfortable than the ones that come standard on David Clark aviation headsets. They also provide a good bit of acoustic isolation. The sound quality is very good as well. Audiophile headphones these are not, but audiophiles aren't buying sub $100 headphones anyway. I noticed a bit of distortion in the low end on bass-heavy music tracks, but mids and highs are nice and clear. Voice chat and gaming are this headset's forte, and they do it well. I have been using mine primarily for teleconferencing and have been quite satisfied with the audio quality. The microphone is easily removable, so I assume it could be replaced if necessary. The cable is hard-wired, so that is not easily replaceable, but at this price point I don't really expect that. It has a 3.5mm TRRS plug that could be used with a cellphone, but also come with a splitter to split out to separate mic and phone plugs if you need that. The splitter also adds a fair bit of length so as to reach to a console or PC that is a bit further away. In the end, this headset turned out to be quite a pleasant surprise and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is looking for something in this style. You'd be hard-pressed to find a DC style headset with this quality at a similar price point. Only 4 stars because I can't attest to their ability to stand the test of time, but the build quality makes me think they will last quite a while.
