Safer Home Diatomaceous Earth Ant & Crawling Insect Killer is effective against a variety of crawling insects including ants, fleas, bedbugs, cockroaches, silverfish, earwigs, and more. Safer Home Ant & Crawling Insect Killer takes care of pest problems without the use of harsh chemical sprays. The formula is non-staining and has no odor, so you can confidently apply it in and around your home. Diatomaceous earth is made up of finely crushed algae fossils. Though it feels soft to the touch for us, each microscopic piece is like a tiny shard of glass to small insects. It damages insects’ exoskeletons as they move across it or ingest it. Insects become dehydrated and die within 48 hours after contact. Keep in mind that large infestations can take a few days for insects to make contact. Apply Safer Home Diatomaceous Earth Ant & Crawling Insect Killer in areas where you suspect or anticipate insect activity, spread it as a barrier to entry points in your home, or apply directly on insects. This product is suitable for application both indoors and outdoors. It is also OMRI Listed and compliant for use in organic gardening. Reapply after rain or watering to replace the powder that has washed away. Note: This product is NOT Food Grade.

Directions for Use: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with labeling. Application Directions: Safer Brand Diatomaceous Earth is intended for application with a hand duster, power duster, or other suitable means of application to areas where crawling insects are found. Apply Safer Brand Diatomaceous Earth to cracks and crevices with the use of a bulbous duster or other suitable equipment. Apply lightly and uniformly. In living areas, make applications in such a manner as to avoid deposits on exposed surfaces or introducing the material into the air. Treat a small area of the surface to be treated and look for staining or other adverse reaction before making regular application. To apply insecticide directly into cracks and crevices, use a bulbous duster or other suitable equipment. Apply lightly and uniformly to infested areas. The amount of product to be applied will vary with the site should usually be in the range of 1 - 5 oz /100 square feet. Indoor Use: Earwigs, Millipedes, Centipedes, Silverfish, Cockroaches, Crickets and Ants: Lightly coat a thin layer of Safer Brand Diatomaceous Earth in areas where these pests are found or may hide, such as cracks and crevices, behind and beneath refrigerators, cabinets, stoves, garbage cans, and in and around sewer pipes and drains, window frames, and in attics and basements. Dust insects directly if possible. Repeat treatment regularly. Fleas: Thoroughly treat floor and bedding in and around pets��� sleeping quarters. Treat surrounding cracks and crevices, baseboards, carpeting, and wherever fleas are suspected. Carpet Beetles: Dust along baseboards, carpet edges, under carpeting, furniture, in closets and shelving where these insects are seen or suspected. Bedbugs: Dismantle bed. Use Safer��� Brand Diatomaceous Earth in joints, crevices and where rungs are inserted. See that all interior areas are dusted. Dust mattresses especially folds and edges. All cracks and crevices and around window openings in the bedroom should be treated. Outdoor Use: Safer Brand Diatomaceous Earth is intended for application with a hand duster or power duster for application to areas where insects are found. Cockroaches, Earwigs, Grasshoppers, Ants, Crickets and Other Insects: Lightly coat a thin layer of Safer Brand Diatomaceous Earth in areas where these insect pests are found such as patios, window and door frames and outdoor sills. Apply around foundations, along ant trails, and around sewer pipes and drains. Repeat treatment as necessary. Storage and Disposal: Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal Storage: Store in a cool, dry area. Pesticide Disposal: Wastes resulting from the use of this product may be disposed of on site or at an approved waste disposal facility. Container Disposal: If Empty: Do not reuse this container. Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If Partly Filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
