Made in Malaysia, shipped in one piece weighing about 25 lbs. Not just great looking (if this type of headboard appeals to you) also very sturdy once it is mounted to the wall. Attaching it to the wall was somewhat of a trial and error process. Perhaps I should have read the accompanying instructions :) Well packed for shipment, too. If you search "Modway" on Walmart and elsewhere, you will find that they offer a large amount of nice furniture. This item is no exception. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
