My own wonderful experience

I have never been one to buy renewed/refurbished/preowned, but after much research on the pros and cons of the M1 line of MacBooks versus M2s and M3s, I have found that people smarter than me say that M1 is the smarter way to spend your money in 2024 (the M2 and M3 are phenomenal; they're just not that much greater than M1 -- they're incrementally greater). Well, M1 MacBook Pros aren't really being sold as new any longer, so I set out to find a great pre-owned one. I looked on all the big websites and some small ones too. I kept coming back to this one on Walmart.com sold by Gadget Replay. I Googled that company. Didn't find much. Kind of low profile from what I can tell and they had mixed reviews. This silver M1 Pro 16 inch MacBook Pro with 512GB storage and 16GB of RAM was offered as LIKE NEW for only $1244. It seemed too good to be true. I only took comfort in that I could return it to the store for a refund if it didn't meet my expectations. And I am so glad I did. Y'all, there is not a single scratch or blemish on this thing. The battery cycle is at 2. It's effectively a brand new battery. It is pristine in both appearance and performance. I almost cried I was so happy with my purchase. I just knew I was gonna get some dirty, dusty machine with bees under the keyboard and a pigeon living in the fan. I did not. I got a better deal than I could have dreamed of and I am so, so, so, so pleased. I purchased the optional 3-year protection plan with my MacBook just in case I fumble my computer. I can not speak to the condition of any other devices that Gadget Replay sells, but my experience has been great with buying a computer listed as "like new". I would buy from them again and I am open to trying pre-owned goods in the future as well. One guy's opinion! -Sent from my MacBook Pro ;')
