Never had problems with Fram filters. But with my vehicle's terrible design which makes oil changes almost impossible, I wanted to try this particular model and see if it would help. Due to the filter being a bit "heavier duty," and its grip, the oil change went much easier. My engine also burns oil pretty fast, and it seems to help a bit in that aspect. Will get this particular Fram filter from now on.
