DFE28JMKEES Evap fan failed only. 5 years old

It stinks tha HE know there is an issue with this evap fan motors they know there is an issue with this Evap fan motor and they do nothing to help the consumer . Evap fan motor just sticks and will not spin .. 7 months past 5 yr warranty .. Not sure if I will purchase GE product again. Older refrigerators lasted 20 years..

Garbage part

This is the 2nd time we have to replace this fan. 2 refrigerators full of food, wasted and they are fully aware the part is garbage and have made no effort to improve it. They are also currently selling washers with a bad power inverter that will be replaced by the same, likely bad, power inverter. Our brand new washer lasted 12 days before the part broke.

ABSOLUTE JUNK!!!

GE refrigerator CFE28TSHFSS evaporator fan keeps on failing. Have replaced the fan 4 times in8 years. Daughter has same model fridge and has replaced the fan 6 times in 6 years. DO NOT BUY GE REFRIGERATORS UNLESS YOU ARE A NASCAR PIT CREW!!! you will be changinging this part every 6 months (10 year-extended part warranty). not to mention all the food you are going to lose.
